Somewhere in between these last two posts, I went through freshman year of college and forgot to update the news system, despite uploading content. But here I am.

Okay, so I realize that I don't update this little news system enough...at all. I keep the content flowing in, but I am really not doing my job in keeping track of it with words. Yeah, yeah, it's been like 6 months since I posted some news...but I have not given up! There is content, and lots of it. Just got back from Egypt, with lots of photos...so expect many more in those sections. It's also provided me with some textures and stock, so I might use those for wallpapers or render backgrounds. But there is tons of content on the way, so keep posted. Also, I'm debating or not whether to add a drawing and/or writing section.

It has been 4 months since my last post, but if you have noticed, I have been submitting content throughout. Either way, sorry about that, I was working all summer and now I am back in school, where I am miserable. I have not been provided with many interesting photo opportunities lately, and with empty college applications in my hands, I don't have so much free time for digital art. I have been drawing more, so maybe I'll set up a new section...maybe not, because I am lazy. Oh well. Either way, content will still be coming in, and maybe some new sections for writing and drawing.

Sorry for the lack of activity lately, but I've been away and busy with school/tennis. At any rate, Japan provided me with many great photo-opportunities, so throughout the coming months, I will be placing those photos on the site (thus, you'll be seeing a lot of updates in conventional photography...maybe not much else). I will try to keep up with the site, but for the next month, I may be difficult.

Just finished another abstraction, Thaumaturgy. Need publicity. :(

I haven't worked on the site that much lately because 1) right now I like where it is at, at both the back and front ends. And 2) because I have been more busy with working on thoeretica.net and sites for some clients and school work. But I have submitted some new work; 1 photo-abstraction, and 2 new layouts. Then I think there are some wallpapers and photos from a little while back that I forgot to announce.

Well, after much contemplation, I realized that Terminal Miko Productions does not really mean anything... it was just kind of random, and if it did mean something, then I forgot it a long time ago. So I decided to change the name of the site. Now it is "Good Man Productions," which yeah...the site is a good man. And such. Anywho, all of my works are still labeled TMP and Terminal Miko Productions, which sucks, but if you see the trademark, just think "Good Man Productions." :P

--- Now that the TMP Content Management System (v3.1) is complete, its exceedingly easy to post content. I just select the file I want uploaded, press submit, and the image is uploaded, turned into a thumbnail, and put into the database. I love it, and you should too, because it means more content to see, and much faster results. I cannot wait to use it more in the future and I am ecstatic about its results. mySQL and PHP have yet to cease to amaze me. By the way, I have used this system to upload a new wallpaper and a new Abstraction; they're both visible from this front page.

--- If you'd asked me two weeks ago about the future of TMP, I never would've guessed this. Right now, the whole system's content is running off a database - which makes things a whole lot easier to update, and display. It takes up less space, it's faster, and it easier. I love it; mySQL is the best thing since CSS. Over the next few days I'm going to be concentrating on a faster content update system, so you won't see too many changes on the front end - however after that, it will be much easier to submit things, and I'll have a couple of wallpapers to submit. So until then.

--- Well, I'm done with the new layout, and here it is! Not happy with it? Well then, you can just switch to the old, classic blue layout. Just check the dropdown box on the sidebar that says "Layout" and switch to "Original." I hope you enjoy this new layout now - I'm using the same exact HTML as before, but a different stylesheet. CSS and PHP rule.
